DESCRIPTION:A weekly TT series\, safely socially distanced\, to get you active and give you something to participate in! Complete the ‘event’ anytime between Saturday\, May 9th at 12:01 am and Friday\, May 15th at 11:59 pm. \nSafety is the number one priority. Please don’t ride with anyone else\, as this is a time trial\, an individual effort\, plus ya know\, social distancing. But also ride safely\, watch out for cars\, etc. Don’t end up getting hurt! \nIn order to be part of the competition\, submit a screenshot of your verified strava segment time in this event. Everyone who participates will get 10 points automatically\, every week. Everyone will get additional points\, in rank order of finish\, from 0.1 to 5\, evenly distributed depending on the number of participants. These will also get added every week. So participate once and you’ll have 10 points\, win all four and you’ll have 60 points (max 15 points per week). All points will be converted to a percentage of 100\, and then James Murray will run a simulation to determine the winner. \n#2 May 9-15th: La Crosse/Vernon County Line on Highway 35 to the Stoddard town sign\, and back. ***Be careful turning around\, Safety is the number one priority***\nFlat stage: https://www.strava.com/segments/23664803\nSegment starts exactly at the Vernon County line sign\, goes to the Stoddard town sign (where the pavement narrows) and then back to La Crosse County. \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Be a part of our live window displays for our first annual indoor trainer riding series. This is a fun event for all abilities. Ride a pre-determined Zwift course\, pose for spectators passing by outside\, race someone in the opposite window\, and get your named put in a drawing for a chance to win a Cycleops H2 Direct Drive Indoor Trainer. \nBring your bike and we’ll set you up. Don’t have a bike? Contact us and we’ll make arrangements. \nThere are only 14 spots each Saturday. Two riders will be riding at the same time. Rides will last anywhere from 30-45 minutes. As soon one of the riders is done\, we’ll help them take their bike out of the window and we’ll get the next bike in the window. Because we don’t know what time you will be going\, all riders must show up at 8:00 a.m. for the pre-ride briefing where we’ll put out the list of riders. At this time\, riders may move their names up and down in the list to accommodate individual schedules. If you aren’t here for your time\, we will automatically move you to the at the end of the list. \nAwards: \nBest costume/outfit (be creative but all pertinent parts must be covered) \nFastest man and woman of the day \nBest cheering squad/most spirit \nSign up here!

The TREADHEAD’S have worked tirelessly to add features to the course and events to make TREADFEST even better. The new features in the TREADZONE last year made for a great place for spectators to see their rider go by several times. \nTREADFEST offers one of the tougher courses on the WORS circuit. The course has plenty of climbing and lots of single track broken up by sections for passing. The course is laid out with three different loops depending on the ability of the race so that everyone can have fun no matter what their ability is. TREADFEST has activities for riders and families including: a consumer expo\, WORS Learn to Race Clinic\, TREADFEST Kids Race\, tasty food and drink on site\, TREADFEST T-shirts and all the weekend fun in beautiful Lake Geneva! \nThe venue for TREADFEST is the beautiful Mountain Top at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa. This property is the original Playboy Club Hotel and today boasts two championship golf courses\, spa\, fitness center\, indoor and outdoor tennis\, and an indoor and outdoor waterpark. The Mountain Top at The Grand Geneva Resort is now open all season for mountain bike riding and disc golf. Check out their website for more information. \nIn addition to TREADFEST\, TREADHEAD Cycling (THC) strives to give riders an exciting environment to explore the joys of riding a bike. DESCRIPTION:Forest Epic organizers and the City of La Crosse are excited to host the 8th event in the 28th year of Wisconsin Off Road Series racing. Hixon Forest is over 800 acres of bluffland overlooking the Mississippi River Valley in the heart of the Driftless Region–La Crosse\, Wisconsin. \nIn the early 1900’s\, a group of citizens including members of the Hixon family raised funds to purchase area blufflands to save them from additional quarrying and logging. Soon after deeds were exchanged\, the lands were donated to the City for preservation and recreation. In modern times\, the City of La Crosse Parks and Recreation Department works with local organizations to build and maintain world class trails and facilities for hiking\, snowshoeing\, skiing\, and mountain biking. \nThe  City of La Crosse Parks and Recreation Department’s mission is to enrich our community through stewardship of the environment and through provision of quality recreation\, facilities\, and fun.  Bringing the WORS races to La Crosse matches the mission and puts our city on the map as a mountain bike destination.  Funds are aggressively reinvested into our trail network in an effort to always be improving on our excellent opportunities for riding. \nEveryone is invited to live it up in La Crosse on Saturday for the pre-ride\, then venture into our historic city and explore.  Those choosing to make their bed upon the bluffs are invited to a summertime night ride on the trails and a late night pump track jam session. \nThe day of the event\, excitement kicks off with the Hixon Forest Frolic 5K.
